Mother’s Day Brunch

With my parents living here in town, with few exceptions i have always made her bunch/lunch for Mother’s Day instead of taking her out somewhere. This year was no different. Megan and I made a fantastic spread that made her face and belly happy! for starters Megan made baked brie with pear honey and a fruit plate which we served with mimosas.

For the main coarse I made Almond Encrusted French Toast with a mixed Berry Compote and Maple Syrup drizzle

And for dessert, I went all out making a coconut mango sorbet with crystalized ginger topped with a ginger cookie.

All around a wonderful meal for my wonderful mom.
